The American Golf League is dedicated to the promotion of golf as a team sport. The AGL uses a match play format called Golfball, in which the number of holes won by each player are combined to produce the team score.

In order to showcase the team sport of Golfball, the league has conducted virtual competition among 16 professional teams made up of players on the PGA Tour.

On this web site you will find the rules that govern the game of Golfball, and the scoreboards of the virtual games played in 2007.

In the near future, the AGL will make available an electronic scoring system which will enable players to know the game score in real time.

The league intends to promote Golfball competition at every level;  schools, colleges, clubs, local, national and international.
